Google, as a part of the Coalition of the Better Ads, protects internet users from intrusive and aggressive ads. If website ads do not meet Better Ads Standards, Chrome may impose sanctions:
If Google finds some violations of the Better Ads Standards, it doesn't block the site immediately, but creates a video report in Google Web Tools with examples and sends it to the webmaster asking to resolve problems. Also, in the case of Failing or Warning status, Google sends a report to the website owner by email.

In 30 days after the first report, if webmaster doesn’t fix the violations, Chrome imposes sanctions. It blocks ads on the website and shows notification that ad blocking has occurred. Also, on the right side of the address bar occurs following icon:

This report is available on Google web tools at the Ad Experience Report. You can check it right now – after a review, all sites get their status. Depending on the quality of the ads, it may be Passing, Warning, or Failing.
